We have received the following feedback from the guests which we took to Youth Makes Music and the performers: -

Just a few words to say thank you for inviting us to the childrens concert at the Festival Hall on 25.03.09 IT WAS FANTASTIC

Many thanks for making it possible for me to enjoy a wonderful musical performance at the Royal Festival Hall on Wednesday.

For me it was a memorable occasion as it was my first visit to the Royal Festival Hall since I moved to my new home in Ealing a year ago from Scotland.

It is a pleasure to know that we have such multicultural, talented, hardworking young musicians among us in Ealing. I take this opportunity to thank each and everyone for their excellent performance. I wish them all a bright future.

All the best wishes for the good work of Rotary.

Many thanks for arranging a delightful evening on Wednesday and including the party from the Hanwell Neighbourly Care Scheme.

It was a remarkable concert, such talent and so well organised, the Rotarians did an excellent job. I feel sure that we were fortunate in hearing and seeing some stars of the future and will follow their names with interest.

Again many thanks, it was a luxury to be conveyed so easily to the Festival Hall.

On behalf of Angie Harris and all of us that went last Wednesday to the Music for Youth at the Festival Hall, I would like to say a big thank you to you and the Rotary Group for a most enjoyable evening. The concert was excellent and the youngsters were amazing - a real eye opener to what goes on! Thank you for sponsoring us to go and the musicians. To be taken door to door by coach was really appreciated.

With many thanks indeed.

A big thank you from us all at the Pop-In for such a magnificent evening at the Royal Festival Hall last week.

We were all so proud that the Ealing Youth Orchestra were so good and that our own local Rotary had organised it all!

Thank you to you and your fellow Rotarians for the tickets and coach travel at such a reasonable price too.

On behalf of Ealing Youth Orchestra I wanted to thank you for the wonderful opportunity to take part in the YMM music concert on Wednesday at the Royal Festival Hall. What an outstanding evening of music-making, with all the young players really rising to the occasion. For EYO, to play to an audience of over 1,000 in a major concert hall in its 50th anniversary year made it such an exciting occasion. We hope that came through in our performance! It was an evening we were all proud to be part of.

What an extraordinary feat of organisation to put on an event of that complexity and run to schedule on the night! Thank you for all that you did for the orchestra, both in advance arrangements, transporting the orchestra, and in resourcing and looking after us so well on the day. It was very much appreciated.

Please pass on our thanks to all in the Hanwell and Northfields group for their support in co-sponsoring our participation in the concert and giving our group of young players such a memorable evening

Thank you so much for such an enjoyable evening at the Festival Hall "Youth Makes Music" event on Wednesday 35th.

I was astonished at the ability of some of the children both soloists and ensembles etc. It does make me realise what talented youth we still have and the future of music is very much assured.

I was one of those "olds" who went with the "Pop In" group and did so much appreciae your Rotary involvement in the trip.
