Kids Out

5 members of the club had the privilege of taking a group of 16 children and 10 staff from Mandeville and Castlebar schools to Legoland as part of Kids Out a Rotary sponsored project. It was a hot and sticky day but we dodged the rain / storms late in the afternoon.

The two groups enjoyed the rides and the sights of Legoland . The Hill Train, the Lego Train, fire engines, submarines, the boats and the rapids were all popular with the children. We all enjoyed a picnic lunch at the lake

We have to say a big thank you to MMW and Legoland who made it all possible by generously providing the tickets for the day.

As always, the best part of the day was watching the faces of the children as they tried new experiences going faster, higher and even a little bit wetter! I am sure they all slept well!

Thanks to Bob, Jessie, Denise & Monique for their support.
